This a blog about Inuit Music and language from circumpolar regions: Nunavut, Nunavik (Northern Quebec), Nunatsiavut (Labrador), Nunakput (NWT), Saami, Inupiat, Yu'pik (Alaska), and from Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland).
DDR stands for "Disko Democratic Republic" as most band members were from the Disko Bay area in north western part of Greenland. The band does not exist anymore. The band's website is not online anymore. They had a couple albums starting in 2004. A couple members are with Nanook now, and another one has his own recording studio in Nuuk.
